Description

Behold Studios is an indie game studio from Brasilia, capital of Brazil, now operating on Toronto, Canada. The award-winning studio was founded in 2009 and its main focus is PC and Consoles. Currently working on Mahou Senshi Cosplay Club, they are mostly known for their previous games Knights of Pen and Paper, Chroma Squad and Out of Space.

History

Early history

Founded in Brazil's capital in 2009, Behold Studios struggled to find its identity and its audience during its early years - as many indie groups do - releasing several games in different platforms before announcing its closure in 2011. With a skeleton crew, the studio's spirit was kept alive by a new game, which was developed at a local book store. This game, Knights of Pen and Paper, turned out to win the hearts of fans and critics around the world, winning several awards and, most surprisingly, IGF's Student Showcase in 2013.

Recent Days

With their bookstore days long behind them, the team at Behold Studios is working on its next game, Mahou Senshi Cosplay Club, a turn-based RPG about Cosplaying and Magical Girls. The studio is currently focused on developing games for PC and consoles.
